The country's oldest cathedral was founded in 1819 but was not consecrated until 1868. A Gothic design built with local sandstone, the southern wall contains stones from St. Paul's cathedral London and the House of Lords. Other highlights of this church include 26 ornamental windows illustrating miracles and parables of Jesus Christ and the great east window with images of the life of St. Andrew. Tours of the cathedral take place at 11am and 1pm on weekdays and 12pm on Sundays.
