Five Ways is a junction of streets in Paddington, where one can absorb the intricacies of "Paddington Lace" which is used to describe the wrought iron balconies that are distinctive of the area. On the five corners of the streets stand unique 19th- and 20th- century shops, including the Royal Hotel which was completed in 1888. The architectural design is a mix between Victorian and Classical styles. It's a lovely spot to read the paper and have a late breakfast in a relaxed, charming atmosphere.
