Getting Around Sydney
By Taxi

Taxis are a relatively affordable way to cover short to medium distances in Sydney.
They are available when the light on top is lit and are easily flagged down.
Taxis are entitled to charge extra if the taxi has been booked by phone, or if it crosses
a tollbooth such as the ones on the the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Taxis are
only allowed to carry four passengers. Most drivers accept payment
by credit card. Taxi ranks can be found outside most bus and railway stations,
major streets in the Sydney CBD, and outside the larger hotels.
